Meeting Notes: There’s a Camarilla convention is in Atlanta this weekend (SERE), so a couple of us (Kelley and I, mainly) will be working that this week. I’m sore as hell from working in the warehouse on Sunday, but a lot of volunteers chipped in to clean up a ton of stuff, which was much appreciated. We talk about logistical stuff like contracts, reviews, time tracking and the like. We’re also in the process of migrating over to our new blog software, so no new “Chambers of Love” or “Behind the Lines” this week while we switch all that over. We’re not leaving our LiveJournal fans behind, though – I’ll have more information for you on that when it’s time.

Today's Reason to Drink: This is a very important date for any publisher: February 23rd, 1455 is the traditional date for the publication of the Gutenberg Bible, the first Western book printed from movable type.

She's not the only one.
Also looking forward to the Mage Tarot.

I hope you and Kelley spread the gospel of Pinky Berkowitz to the southerners this weekend.

Whereas I am presiding over Lexington's very first Game of the Month this weekend. Wish me luck.

I heard you mention in the wossname Abbey interview that "Wolfsheim" is the other Scion SAS. Can you reveal at this time whether it'll be a tie-in to "The World at War" from the Companion? If you can, will it?

Yes, and no. Well, not exactly. Mostly no, though.

Nope. Meant it as "in the process of talking to writers I have hired." Generally, I don't post a request for writers on a public blog. ;)

Er... it's about Goblin Markets?

Awesome update.

You know, I just had a mental image that - perhaps Team AD shoots paper football at the Vamp Team and then hides behind a cubicle while guffahing. Thought I'd share a mental image.

More nerf guns than paper footballs, but otherwise not far off.

So, do we have an estimated release date on New Wave Requiem? :)
eddyfate From: eddyfate Date: February 24th, 2009 02:36 pm (UTC) (Link)
Things are still looking on track for a February release.

I have somewhat of a dilemma regarding New Wave Requiem.

I really want it. I believe WW will release it as a pdf. However, I prefer products in book form. I know the PoD store on Lulu.com says WW is still working out PoD products. Do you estimate it taking a long time (over 2 months) before the PoD issue gets worked out? I would like to wait for New Wave Requiem to be printed, but if it takes too long I would rather buy the pdf and then take it to Kinkos and pay way too much for a print. Any advice on the subject?
eddyfate From: eddyfate Date: February 24th, 2009 07:51 pm (UTC) (Link)
The time it'll take us to work out a new program is best measured in months, yes.
