The meeting's a bit light today, as Russell's still in the process of moving, and John's recovering from his vacation. There's some controversy this Groundhog Day: General Beauregard Lee, PhD, predicts an early spring, but Punxsutawney Phil predicts six more weeks of winter. It's always annoying when pundits can't agree on the issues.

We learned a bit about a lot of the upcoming internal technology for us, but generally it's one of those weeks where there's not a lot going on, giving us an opportunity to focus on other things.

Today's Reason to Drink: It's Groundhog Day! Didn't you get that earlier?

You may have explained this once before, but what does the term "symbol" mean? Above you say "Ancient Bloodlines- Symbols all done..."

Each of the bloodlines has a symbol associated with it that Craig has to draw.

Receiving first drafts of Testament of Longinus today

Finally... yay! Will it be a small book like Rites of the Dragon?

In the sense that it will be completely "in game" (what we call an artifact book), then yes. It's currently slated as a PDF release, with hopes that we'll be able to offer it down the road as a print-on-demand book.

Speaking of print-on-demand, I went by White Wolf's Lulu page the other day. The only thing on there was Awakening. What happened to Imperfect Lotus (and all the other POD releases for that matter)?

Due to some complications with our current print-on-demand partnership, we are temporarily suspending our print-on-demand program. We will be taking time to make sure that when print-on-demand books are offered again, that they will be of the quality that you as customers and we are publishers demand from our products. I'm leaving the Mage books up for a week so that our LARP fan club has a chance to pick up some last-minute copies before we close the store entirely.

Also, the FAQ is updated on this issue: http://www.white-wolf.com/sas/faq.aspx

Hmmm...

Is that "Wolfshiem" or "Wolfsheim"?
eddyfate From: eddyfate Date: February 2nd, 2009 09:50 pm (UTC) (Link)

Re: Hmmm...

God damn it, I ALWAYS do that. It's "Wolfsheim."

* Under the Skin

As per my usual curiosity: What, if any, can you say about each of these?
eddyfate From: eddyfate Date: February 2nd, 2009 09:55 pm (UTC) (Link)
The last... hrm... five are SASs. They are, NOT in order, for Scion, Exalted and Hunter. I'll let y'all sort out which are which. ;)

Wicked Dead is a book for Requiem, I believe.

W00t, Alchemicals! (I know by the schedule the release is a year away, but gorramit, I can't help looking forward to this release already!)

Even though I know it very likely does not mean what I'm reading into it, my heart is filled with joy as I see New Wave Requiem being listed under Team Vampire instead of Team Alternative Publishing. Please oh please say this means it's gonna be a regular VtR hardcover book. *puppy dog eyes*

You're right, it doesn't mean what you're reading into it -- it's a copy and paste error on my part.
