Well, we're back from the holidays, and everyone's moving a bit slow. Seems that Brian and I caught the same kind of death cold over New Year's, even though I haven't seen him since the 17th. Aaron gripes about the fact that people don't always address letters to the person they're supposed to go to, so he gets to open all the mail. We discuss the possibility that Steve Jobs is actually a robot, and the irony that he's probably powered by UNIX. Russell mentions how he was harassed about working on Requiem at the wedding he went to. Meanwhile, Jess wins the "most interesting holiday" award by spinning out in her car on Saturday and slamming into a concrete divide, only to find that her front and back driver's side corners were the only damage to the entire car (she's fine, BTW). John tells us we've been "Tom Sawyered," which sounds like something that should be on Chaney's list. Aaron is considering spending money to be dropped into the desert for a week with only a backpack full of supplies.

The meeting covered a lot of ground, including some exciting stuff going on with the web team in the future. We also talk a little about the 2009 and 2010 schedules, and open the door to some brainstorming next week. Some of us came with our requested New Year's resolutions, and read them aloud to the class our co-workers; the rest have until next week. In retrospect, I don't recall what will happen if someone doesn't cough up some resolutions. Maybe they have to clean out the warehouse with a toothbrush or something.

Today's Reason to Drink: It's Twelfth Night. Celebrate by having one shot for each day of Christmas.

Silly question, is the quarterly going to be popping up this month? I submitted a story, so naturally I'm bouncing to see if it got in. :)

I believe the eQuarterly is on hiatus for the time being, but I'm not completely sure.

Do you guys plan to offer a print-to-order version of Block By Bloody Block? I bought the pdf and was curious about a bound papper copy.

We're looking into the possibility for a print-on-demand version.

Well I'm guessing here but I'd say it's a WoD supplement covering people who aren't vampires, mages or some other more well-known long living creature, but have found a way to avoid aging/dying. I'm thinking the Nameless One or the Wandering Jew or Sandman's Robert Gadling or possibly a Jack Harkness/Captain Scarlet deal.

Clearly Immortals is about how to build Keith Richards as an antagonist.

I wear my sunglasses at night,
So I can
So I can
Watch you weave then breathe your story lines.
And I wear my sunglasses at night
So I can
So I can
Keep track of the visions in my eyes.
While she's deceiving me,
It cuts my security.
Has she got control of me? - I turn to her and say:
Don't switch the blade on the guy in shades,
Oh no!
Don't masquerade with the guy in shades,
Oh no!
I can't believe it!
You got it made with the guy in shades,
Oh no!

cleaning the warehouse

I wouldn't recommend anybody cleaning the warebouse with a toothbrush. There are things hidden there that should never be found.

Re: cleaning the warehouse

Dead Hooker.

Not to narc on anyone (as is my nature), but seriously the CDC will start noticing. Then start investigating. Then the warehouse will be full of Chad's Dead CDC Investigator Parts.

Chicken lover Eddy

More importantly, did you take up that offer of sex and chicken, Eddy?
