- “Whatever goes as long as she brings groceries home to daddy,” says Chaney.
- Chaney can apparently have illict gay sex on the down-low for two more weeks. Then he gets all married.
- He is the most slanderous man in gaming.
- A fellowship proves the existence of Mordor.
- ”I’ve gotta get drunk again and wield it,” says Chaney.
- John gives us: armGINA!
- Brian wonders what Arab-shaped even means.
- Bill wanders past the conference room, looking lost and confused. He still doesn’t know where his desk is, I think.
- Chaney won’t have kids because it would require gasoline and a hair-style change.
- matt says, “chaney wants to be ghost rider. That’s what I got out of that.
- Instead of riding around on a motorcycle, Chaney stomps, sullen, across the country, real slow, with signs and cacti catching fire off his flaming beard. The asphalt melts. Cusses catch fire as they leave his mouth, giving off a smell like burnt tar.
- John’s ass won the AVM awards.
- Petur points out that while the EVE CCG has not yet won any awards, it hasn’t lost any either (Scion: Hero).
- “Where’s my Donal Logue?” says Chaney.
- We’ve got somebody here, interviewing for the developer gig. The matt asks what his/her favorite movie is. Chaney said, “I’ll make it easy for you: John Carpenter’s ________”

- Somebody says, “In addition, I like nipples.” Beyond this one line, nipples come up about one thousand times.
- the matt is explaining why this stuff comes out of Chaney’s mouth. “You know that little guy in your head that tells you not to say that kind of stuff? Chaney walled his off.”
- Chaney adds, “He’s got a fridge but no toilet.”
- “Did you say you’re thrilled with your light sailor costume?”
- “I dunno, man. You know it when you see it,” says Rich, “like pornograph—“ Chaney shouts, “Oh, yeah!”
- Now Chaney's saying, "If I ever start shitting out golf balls, you take me to the hospital!"
Now, a list of work stuff:
- Dreams of the First Age, the huge boxed set forthcoming for Exalted, continues to gestate. Also, Bax is putting together text for a special preview ad.
- Brian is sorry about the red boxes in Exalted, Second Edition. He apologizes. (Actually, he hangs his head and asks us to stop talking about it.)
- Scion: God is in layout with Brian. He's also putting together an ad for Murder City, with Jess.
- Ethan's got grimoires coming in for Grimoire of Grimoires, and he's writing a special PDF-exclusive release on Goblin Markets for Changeling: The Lost.
- Aileen is working on a proof for Adamantine Arrow (for Mage: The Awakening), plus Rites of Spring (for Changeling) and Banishers (also for Mage).
- the matt is devoted this week to a secret mission code-named Project Blue November. I can say nothing more.
- Chaney's doing final layout and proofing on World of Darkness: Changing Breeds (lot of nudity in that book, he says), plus cards for MwuHaHa!
- Craig is doing the cover for Fall of the Camarilla (for Vampire: The Requiem and conceptualizing the look of Lords Over the Damned: The Ventrue Clanbook
- Jess is doing interior designs for the office, like selecting art and palettes for sections of the building. That's a fun job — one good way to tell she's not an intern anymore.
- Aaron is manhandling translation and merchandise projects.
- Rich is mostly interviewing developer candidates this week.
Call For Questions
Quick, before we start inventing criteria for what's suitable and what's not, send us any and all questions that you'd like us to cover on one of our upcoming White Wolf podcasts. Post your questions in the comments, and be sure to put a "Podcast Question" header on that thing. At this point, any topic is fair game, but we'll answer just whatever questions we want.
That does it.

Podcast Question
Honestly, I'd love to hear a podcast on Werewolf: the Forsaken, and on what plans there are for the line's future. It seems to have gotten overshadowed, which is a damned shame.~Allan

Any additional 'swag' plans (i.e. lanyards, pins, etc) especially with Clan/Covenant/Order/Whatever symbols on them, such as the folks at Dragonfire LaserCrafts are doing on some stuff?A tidbit from folks on stuff that they wanted to put in their games/lines but couldn't for whatever reason (I got to ask Ethan this at GenCon re: Changeling and am curious on what other developers wish could have gotten in and didn't).

Another example would be material cut from the Black & White Treatises. A freelancer obtained initial permission to release some of that material but was asked to take it offline until the text could be reviewed. Presumably, to make sure that even if unofficial it would mesh well with the rest of the line. As fans we love extra stuff like this, but we do understand that you guys have to ensure continuity in any given game line.
I may be lynched for saying this, but I don't mind paying a little bit of money for additional content. We know you have a hectic release schedule and cut material may not be given a second glance once the files go to the printer. Still, here's one fan who's asking pretty, pretty, so very pretty, pleeeeeeeeeeease consider letting us at this stuff! :) Perhaps a poll of some sort asking, "Alright, we have X, Y and Z. What would you like to see most?"
Just a thought. Have a good one.

Podcast Question
Will you folks and/or the developers be able to give us a bit of a run down between Changeling Arcadia and Mage Arcadia? I know a lot of players have their ideas (one being that they're separate, another one being they're the same realm but different "regions" so to speak) but I was wondering what you developer folk have to say from HQ on the matter, if anything.September 27 2007, 19:42:24 UTC 4 years ago

Questions for the podcast
Serious Questions--Will we be seeing a book similar to Requiem Chroniclers Guide for Werewolf?(Great job on fleshing it out so well already)
--Since the success of The Imperfect Lotus for Exalted (It doesn’t seem to leave the top 10), would you like to do similar products for exalted and other game lines? Is it something you find possible with most works or is it hard to find left over material good enough for such a project?
--Is it possible for there to be some sort of directory of authors and developers that work on WW projects? It doesn’t have to be anything complex, maybe something on the wiki. I like the idea of knowing more about who is involved in something I like so much.
Non-Serious Questions
--Do any of the folks at WW love Dethklok (from Metalocalypse on Adult Swim) as much as it seems they should? Favorite band member, song, etc?
--At any time has there been discussion (serious or joking) on a WW themed Orange County Chopper?

Pod Cast Question
Every once in a while I read some rules for things, usually merits, in one of the supplements for a particular World of Darkness line which I think could be useful for every game line, for example, the Parkour merit from Strange Alchemies. Would it be possible to get some of these rules either printed in one of the general World of Darkness books, as appropriate, or as a compilation .pdf of such rules?September 28 2007, 03:02:40 UTC 4 years ago

Podcast Question
Not really a question per se, but I'd love to hear something, absolutely anything in regards to WoD MMO. I'm fully aware that there's probably nothing of substance to be released to the public at the moment, but at least we can get the statistics for, say, how many coders Justin injures per month or something.September 30 2007, 12:40:04 UTC 4 years ago
Podcast Question
Will we ever get to see a Celestial Bureaucracy and Atlantean Pantheon specific Purviews?October 1 2007, 17:23:26 UTC 4 years ago
Re: Podcast Question
Ditto that - I'd love to see web enhancements for Scion. Such enhancements would only take a modicum of effort (perhaps culled from cut material for the main books) and would significantly prolong the life of the series, in my opinion. Additional Pantheons, histories on the individual gods, essays, Storytelling advice - you could even do this for Promethean or Changeling.October 1 2007, 17:08:22 UTC 4 years ago
